Archipelago nature trails

There are several marked nature trails in the Majasaari-Nuokot island group. They all start at the ferry jetty on each island. Each jetty has a board with information about its own area.
There is no nature trail as such at Tammio, but visitors can follow the old fishing village paths and lilac-lined lanes.

The Ulko-Tammio nature trail gives a good picture of the varied scenery and the island’s military history. The trail passes through a cave that was once built as a shelter for soldiers. There is also an observation tower.

Kuorsalo island has no marked nature trails but visitors can wander through the moss-covered forests and over the smooth rocks.
